Tasting Notes:

  • Arising Fruity Notes of Blueberry & Cocoa
  • Lingering Aftertaste
  • Bundles of Sweetness

Origin & Process:
A captivating single-origin coffee from the heart of Ethiopia — Awash River. This natural-processed lot from smallholder farmers along the river Awash in the Sidamo region delivers a vibrant and complex cup with distinct notes of tropical and stone fruit, complemented by delicate cocoa hints.

  • Ethiopia — Awash River
  • Producer: Smallholder Farmers
  • Region: Sidamo, Southern Ethiopia
  • Variety: Ethiopia Heirloom Varieties
  • Altitude: 1800 - 2200 MASL
  • Process: Natural/Dry Processed

Grown by smallholder farmers who have cultivated coffee for generations, this coffee benefits from the fertile soils, abundant sunshine, and the life-sustaining waters of the Awash River. The natural sun-drying process on raised African beds allows the cherries’ natural sugars to develop fully, resulting in a cup that embodies the rich history and biodiversity of Ethiopia. Expect a bright, fruity profile with a harmonious balance of tropical sweetness, subtle florals, and a crisp, clean finish.

This coffee actually has fruity notes and a hint of dark chocolate, very sophisticated flavour.
